Sessioning in the Day of CV 19 by D
Sessions between a top and a bottom, a dom and a sub or whatever vernacular you prefer all involve elements of safety, trust and honesty. Having first sessioned with Mz. Suzanne more than ten years ago we now have fully established protocols in place with regard to safety, session timings and related activities.
But with the risks associated with CV 19 we have needed to incorporate additional safety measures to ensure that each of us are kept as risk free as possible – not only for ourselves but for our family and friends. When I recently contacted Mz. Suzanne about a possible session she indicated we would need to wear masks. Having known her for as long as I have, not only was this fully appreciated, it was fully expected. And anyone expecting to session in this day and age must be fully prepared that things are now different.
When discussing our particular session parameters I indicated that I would be wearing two masks – just as I do when entering a store. She indicated we would both need to wash our hands when we met and, not only did I agree, we discussed which type of hand sanitizers she already had on hand. She told she has had her studio fully sanitized by a professional cleaner (also a client of hers) and that certain session activities were now off limits.
Based on my long term experience with Mz. Suzanne, all of the aforementioned were not viewed as constraints to our session, but examples of her true professionalism in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for both her and her clients. As stated in a Clint Eastwood movie about the Marines – we must be prepared to Adapt, Improvise and Compromise.
So please bear in mind that for anyone hoping to session with Ms. Suzanne, safety measures over and above those of the past, must be taken. Masks are required/hand washing is required/with cleanliness paramount. Existing clients, with whom a relationship has been established, should already expect to take the aforementioned safety measures. Prospective clients will need to go much further to establish their bonafides to ensure they can conduct themselves in a safe and germ free manner.
So how was our session?
While it was a new experience in our wearing masks, we adapted, improvised and compromised. Eye-to-eye contact allowed for Mz. Suzanne to stay fully aware of my reactions and responses during the session. And, as always, she had a few surprises in store such that she was able to provide me with another unique and remarkable experience. When we were done I was so impressed that I compared her to Tom Brady – the Greatest of All Time and, am now, eagerly looking forward to our next time together.
