EDIT – I have decided to stop seeing clients until at least April 1st then I will re-evaluate. Let’s see what happens between now and then shall we? Please stay safe out there
Now – Back to the blog post –
In case you’ve been living under a rock the last month or so, the corona virus scare has gotten pretty serious. It seems all of my news feeds are filled with scary articles about how fast and wide this thing is spreading and how there is no end in sight.
Naturally, as a result, I have had several clients cancel sessions due to their travel plans changing either by their choice, their companies’ choice, or from all out travel bans. And others are adjusting to spouses working from home.
It is, of course, a good thing that government agencies and the private sector are finally taking this seriously since people are dying out there and I’d definitely rather have my friends and playmates be safe than at risk of being exposed. But it has made for a bit quieter week or two around here. If you are feeling stressed out and need a good relaxing play session or even a therapeutic spanking, (and haven’t been out of the country in the last couple weeks or around anyone showing symptoms – smile) drop me a note and let’s get together sometime soon! I could definitely help you not touch your face for an hour or so. <grin>
Seriously though, it is a good idea for folks to pay attention to how they are feeling and monitor their symptoms (if any) so you know the difference between the cold, flu or COVID19. Here’s a helpful little infographic.
Also, I thought that this would be an appropriate time to mention that I take cleanliness in my dungeon very seriously and have my entire play space sprayed regularly with “Bioshield” to give the space and everyone that visits it an added layer of protection. If you’ve never heard of “Bioshield 75” check out this link and watch the short but informative video.
Also to help keep things in perspective, if you haven’t seen John Oliver’s monologue on Coronavirus you really should check it out. Then wash your hands. And don’t be a racist.
Now to lighten the mood a bit more, here are some of the funniest memes I have come across in recent days.
Sign me up for the anti-face touching system. Something I would LOVE!
Just keep your common sense working and mix it with some calm and compassion and we’ll get through this.
Also – get outside and do your social distance hike or bike.
And if course consider what Mz. Suzanne advises.
