So – OMG I am almost afraid to get my hopes up but, it looks like I have a few shows to go to this year! Mind you, some of these tickets were purchased in 2019 and clearly needed to be rescheduled once already. I also have several tickets for shows that have been bumped to 2022 but that gives me something to look forward to right? LOL
So I thought I would brag a bit and share some of my upcoming concert calendar so that you know what I’ll be up to for the next few months.
I kicked off the summer season by attending the first show of the year after a long hiatus at my favorite venue of all time: The Jones Beach Theater with my wonderful niece and her sweet husband to see Lady A. They had not one, not two but THREE opening acts and it was a glorious evening for an outdoor concert!
Aug 27th Sad Summer Festival! One of my favorite bands – All Time Low will be headlining at NY’s Pier 17 (yes thankfully outdoors) along with The Story So Far, The Maine, Movements, Grayscale and Pinkshift!
Update – I was thrilled they required proof of vaccine or recent Covid test to enter the venue and all was going amazingly well, until a storm rolled in and we had a to head back inside to wait out a 2 hour rain delay. Ughh!! But it actually cooled things off a bit and the rest of the show was freaking awesome! One of the best surprises was that an amazing guy that was quite a bit taller than my god daughter snatched Ryan’s (drummer of All Time Low) drum stick out of the air and handed it to her!! I thought she was going to explode with joy. I cannot even say how much I love seeing THAT smile on her face. π But umm yeah it was a very long day and now I get to gear up for Riot Fest which is 3 days long! Wish us luck!!
My favorite concert buddy and I had a great spot to enjoy the show thanks to the VIP tickets I sprung for!
Sept 15 – 20th we are heading to Chicago for Riot Fest! To be truthful I was way more excited about this show when My Chemical Romance was headlining but they postponed to 2022 (and yes we have tickets for that also) but my favorite concert buddy still wanted to go this year. To be honest we are both super concert starved so yeah, I get it… it will be nice to feel the energy of a huge multi day festival again. We totally miss Warped Tour. π
Without going into too much more detail. here is the rest of my event calendar as of now – I am sure more will be added shortly – lol!

So my schedule is going to be a bit hectic and I am sure that there will be a few times I will curse myself for overloading myself but after sitting on my ass for a year and a half – I need to get out into the world and feel alive again.
Keeping your dance card FULL.
Oh yes! I definitely plan on doing a LOT of dancing! π
Please be careful when attending events with the Delta virus going around.
We are both fully vaccinated, several of these shows are outdoors and we will mask up where appropriate. But thank you Jen.
You are a great source of concert information! I will attend a couple of these now that I’ve seen them here.
Thanks Jack – let me know which ones and maybe we can meet!
