So wow what a year huh? As we get close to closing out 2021 – I thought I would take a moment to reflect a bit on this crazy up and down year. It goes with out saying that freaking covid still sucks. I am truly sick of this drama and had sincerely hoped that once the majority of us were vaccinated that we would begin to be able to put that crap in our rear view. Sadly this doesn’t seem to be the case just yet. I hate to think that this is our new normal but I guess only time will tell.
In spite of all that- I have been managing to have a fairly joy filled Dec! I have had quite a few lovely play dates with some AMAZING people!! Many of my favorites came to visit for some holiday stress relief and I met a few new people that I very much look forward to getting to know better next year. Thank you to all of you that gave me such lovely holiday gifts and generous bonuses!! Here is a smattering of pics from some of the sessions I have had in the last couple of weeks.
I also took a gallery of selfies for you so you can see my smiling festive little face – lol!
As for what else I have been up to … one of my silliest thrills this week came when I discovered that some of my super fat little squirrels had actually finally made a nest in one of the two cool new squirrel houses that I bought for them! I am a HUGE animal lover and have been feeding the squirrels and birds (and sometimes a bear) in my yard for quite some time now and I added these cozy little homes to help them make it more comfortably through the winter. I had actually started to think they were too fat to get in there but I peeked inside today and discovered it full of cozy nest materials! Yay!
Brett and I made it out to see the new Cirque Du Soleil show “Twas the night before Christmas” one day last week, and I really enjoyed that and walking around the city on such a lovely warmish day. I am hoping to make it out to Old Sturbridge Village for their Candlelight Christmas thing next week. Wish me luck! Tomorrow is the trek to Long Island to visit family and drop gifts. Gonna be a long day but worth it.
Ok – I think that is all I have for today! I want to wish every single one of you a truly joyous and healthy holiday season and a much better new year!
I would love to see you again soon and be your next human Christmas tree!
I like the new red pants too.
Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy new Year!
Merry Christmas,
You…me…the new humbler and a single-tail….can’t wait!
Thank you for being who you are
