So this coming weekend I am heading off to do an erotic retreat called – Celebrating the Body Erotic for Self-Identified* Women with my beloved Body Electric School at one of my favorite places on the planet – Easton Mountain Lodge!
Anyone that has played with me at least a few times has heard me reference Body Electric – and heard me credit them for helping me learn to breathe properly to assimilate and process strong sensation as well as to achieve delightfully altered states of consciousness, to do erotic root massage in ways that help my playmates actually relax and enjoy opening up to me, as well as for helping me learn more about engaging and connecting with my own inner erotic being as well as being more present with others.
In short, they have been a catalyst for change in many areas of my life and I am very excited and grateful for the chance to “recharge” this weekend in a circle of amazing, brave, glorious women. I am going to be glowing when I return to the dungeon on Monday!!
Then the following weekend is Brett and my 2nd anniversary as well as Canadian Thanksgiving! Woohoo! So we are packing up the family, and heading to Lake George and a rental cottage for 3 nights – 4 days. Oct 8 – 11.
We have always loved Lake George and have a so many great memories there and it is an amazing place to do some leaf peeping. We’ll be hitting the LG Steamboat company Thanksgiving Dinner cruise with a Party of 5 on the 9th and hopefully finding somewhere special to dine for our wedding anniversary on the 10th. 🙂
Not long after I get back from the Lake, on Oct 15th I will be running a 5k to raise money for The Little Guild and I would truly appreciate your help in sponsoring my run!
Don’t know what to donate? Well, if we got together would you buy me lunch – or even a cup of tea? Then that would be great!
Seriously, No amount is too small. Please and Thank you SO MUCH!! Sponsor Me!
And finally – ending the month with a serious bang we have “When We Were Young”!! Two full days of music in Las Vegas! My favorite concert buddy – their boyfriend and I are so completely excited about this one. If I’m being honest I am way more excited about this line up than I was about Riotfest. It will be a whirlwind trip – Flying in Friday – mad concert running all day Saturday and Sunday – fly home Monday. We have booked a really nice suite within walking distance of the Las Vegas Fairgrounds.
In particular, we are completely stoked to see “Pierce the Veil” because they were the first “real concert” I took my buddy to see. But there are at least a dozen other bands I am planning to catch – A Day to Remember, Avril, Sirens, BVB, The Used, Motionless in White, and Palaye Royal of course. Like serious amount of good bands!! The good thing is – since it’s the same line up both days we are guaranteed at least 2 chances to catch everyone we want to see!
Soooo yeah – loads of fun and adventure – sexy yummy fun – family and loved ones- sights to see – concerts to hear – animals to save. In between all that I hope to have some delightful connection time with some of you. Have a great month!
Normally we go to the Lake George area but not this year because i am having eye surgery. The first week in October in Warrensburg they have a very large garage sale.
Ooh – I hope the surgery goes well for you Jen. Garage sales are fun but I think we will already be pretty busy with the Thanksgiving cruise and kayaking and Anniversary dinner. Hugs!!
