So Oh MY GOD!! I have been a huge fan of Matt Nathanson for a lot of years now and last night I went to see him at The Academy of Music in Northampton MA and was lucky enough to get the “pre show hang” package than includes a Q and A section and a mini set. A few weeks in advance he had asked the folks who signed up for this – ad lest 40 people or so I’d say to write in and request songs they would like to hear. I asked for “Bent” and I was blown away that he not only did the song I requested – he looked right at me – pointed to me and said my freaking name!! Holy shit! I am fan girling like a teenager right now but it just blew me away to know that he knows me on sight at this point out of 1000s of fans and picked me out if the crowd. – Cue the joyful tears! That is all. 😀 Ohh except AND I get to see him without a pre show thang tonight in Pawling. I LOVE MY LIFE!! 🙂

Aaron Tap who is always on stage with Matt – looked great considering he was still recovering from pneumonia and I recently discovered he has 11 studio albums of his own! I will have to do a few deep dives and check them out. 🙂

Ohh and I really enjoyed his opener – Steven Kellogg – I have a new song stuck in my head – “To the Ones Who Need It Most” Truly catchy tune. 🙂 Spotify it!
