Holiday Blog 2024

It has continued to be a bit of a roller coaster around here with lots of good news / bad news days, but I am looking forward to a nice, quiet Christmas with my sweetheart, our 6 remaining kitties and the rescue turtle.

Speaking of the cats – Athena the little darling in the featured photo above, is filling in nicely and may have even forgotten how skinny, anemic and scabby she was when she arrived here. I hope so – she seems pretty happy now but she acts like she is forever starving to death! Oy! But I love her little fluffy cat-titude and she is definitely the youngest and most playful member of the house hold.

Our sweet Calypso has a new favorite chair and we are hoping this one will last a few years un-shredded. LOL (I’m so delusional eh?)

Miss Torie the dungeon cat has been settling in pretty well – so far she has not decided to help me do any CBT sessions but who knows, maybe one day soon. <wink>

And holy shit!! My Chatty Boy vanished for 5 full nights in sub zero temperatures and I was convinced he’d been killed by a predator or a car because he had never ever been missing even for an overnight in 12 years – but on Christmas Eve he walked into the living room and demanded food like nothing had happened. So I am calling that my Christmas miracle for this year!! 🙂

OK Let’s talk MUSIC for a minute!

I got my Spotify Wrap up and it – as usual is a hilarious mix of “work music” and pop punk etc. But what I was blown away by was the fact that I racked up or 30k mins of listening to Spotify this year! Holy heck! That’s over 500 hours! Can you tell I love my tunes?

Oh and next years big festival, instead of the Vegas one will be the Warped Tour DC weekend in mid June! I don’t even know who is playing yet but I am super excited that Warped Tour is back!
