So last week was a hectic crazy fun one that included 2 nights out in a row at “Infinity Hall” which was built in 1883 in Norfolk CT. Last Wed I saw one of my all time favorite bands “Rusted Root” with my dear friend Angel.

We started with a really amazing dinner in the bistro downstairs and decided that we were definitely going to be having drinks with that! (Angel is REALLY fun when she’s had a few!!) So next thing I know I am on my 3rd or 4th Chai-tini and I am imaginging this adorable little bartender named Josh in rope dangling from my suspension frame.

But getting back to the show which was great as always! Ang and I had seen Rusted Root at least twice together at “The Chance” in Poughkeepsie which is also a nice little venue but no where as pretty and classy as “Infinity”.

One of the best things about seeing a show at Infinity Hall is that after the show, the artists do a meet and greet in the downstairs bar area so that the fans have an opportunity to buy cds, get them signed and even get their picture taken with them.

Then sometimes afterwards they even hang out in the bar for a bit. Above right is a shot that Angel took of Michael Glabicki with a gal he was chatting with. We really had a great time and then on our way home we stopped off at a cute little biker bar not far from my house for a nightcap and the barmaid “Moe” took very dark and grainy this shot for us. Can you tell we had been having a REALLY good time??

So as if all of that wasn’t fun enough the very next night I went back to Infinity to see Paula Cole. I was blessed with a front row seat practically under her piano and was simply enthralled by her! I absolutely LOVE that woman’s voice and I honestly have to say that I got pretty turned on just listening to her sing.

Paula runs so much sexual energy and passion through her music while she sings it is just incredible. It was a fabulous show and afterwards I took the opportunity to meet her and have her sign a few cds for me. She was totally charming and sweet as well as talented and I would absolutely see her again any chance I got!
