Most of the folks who know me well know that I have a few complicated relationships in my life, one of which is with someone I consider one of my best friends, hell is is practically my brother (although legally he is much more than that but we won’t get into the details here).

Myke got seriously hurt on the job last October and has been out of work and in constant pain, depressed and demoralized because he hates feeling useless and unable to even do the things around his house that he is used to doing.  He is a single dad of a wonderful 13 year old girl who although has some medical issues that are doing to require her to have back surgery in the next few weeks. He has been struggling to make ends meet for a really long time and it has been an upward battle that just keeps getting harder.

Then yesterday on top of everything else he has on his plate, he gets told that his dog Gus, who is his constant companion and so much more than a pet, has a cancerous growth that is going to require surgery.  Needless to say this was not great news and it is going to be an extreme hardship on him and his daughter unless can get a little help.  So I started a GoFundMe page and if you are touched by his story as I am (or simply want to gain major “good boy” points with me… please consider donating to it. Even a few bucks will add up and be a huge help.
